About Us

The Young’s Daughters Bereavement Center serves people with a wide range of grief and loss

circumstances, and a wide range of religious backgrounds and perspectives.

The Young’s Daughters Bereavement Center is a nonprofit organization that is chartered in the State of

Texas and is authorized by the IRS to accept deductible donations under section 501(c)(3) of the federal

internal revenue code. The nonprofit organization is not a business and not a government agency. Young’s

Daughters Bereavement Center was founded by Sabrina N. Young, who is a US Army Veteran and a Texas

Licensed Funeral Director.

The services are provided by both compensated and volunteer professionals, including Chaplains,

Pastoral Counselors, Pastoral Care Providers, Clergy Members, Family Services Advocates, and Funeral

Directors. For people seeking the help of a Mental Health Provider, referrals can usually be made.

A nonprofit Board of Directors oversees the organization, and a professional Executive Director

operates the services of the organization.
